Another day, another win

Is this Brooks Koepka unstoppable? He makes the game of golf look so easy, yet we all make it look hard…I think. With a comfortable three-shot win in the WGC FedEx St. Jude Invitational, Brooks picks up another impressive win.

What can we learn from him and how can we use it to help our golf game?

En route to his unflappable 65 did you notice how cool, calm and collected he was?! The occasion never seems to be too big for Koepka. His routine is rock solid and along with his technique being very good, this guy is the real deal.

They reckon that golf is 95% upstairs, so this week when practising on the driving range concentrate on routine, play each shot as if it’s a shot on the golf course. Test yourself and put yourself under pressure.

Home hopes – who are you backing?

The wet conditions faced at the Evian Championship last week could well be the perfect preparation for the world's best as they head to Woburn for the Women's British Open, which begins on Thursday.

Last year saw home-grown hero Georgia Hall fire a sublime final round five-under-par to overhaul Thailand’s Pornanong Phatlum and claim her first Major championship. But will there be a repeat this year to make it back-to-back British women on the top step in their home Major?

Hall will no doubt be one of the favourites and along with the likes of Charley Hull, Bronte Law and Meghan Maclaren (to name but a few) who are all flying the flag for the British Isles, there is plenty of reason to get excited ahead of the fifth and final women’s Major of the year.

1 gap, 2 gap, 3 gap, FORE!

U-500 and U-510 utility irons

TS2 and TS3 hybrids

A ball for every occasion

Let’s be honest: we're greedy when it comes to our golf ball, and rightly so. We don’t want to have to choose between distance or feel; instead, we want a ball that offers us the lot.

Picture the scenario

You’re out playing a round with your friends and you've just used your ball to hit a delicate flop shot over a bunker to a few feet and knocked it in for par - top job! Following a short walk to the next tee, you’re then stood on a par-5 needing to smash your Sunday best as far down the fairway as possible.

This scenario requires a ball that is versatile enough to offer you spin and feel around the greens, whilst providing explosive distance and a high launch from the tee.

Consider TP5/x from TaylorMade

Here's what you can expect from both:
