Start 2019 the right way

With Christmas and New Year all done and dusted, now is the time to focus on your game, building up to the start of the 2019 season. You may see the colder months as a time to put off practice or playing but it’s the perfect period to be working on the areas of your game that need most work. You want your game to be in the best possible shape when the start of the season arrives.

That was fast

The New Year has seen two of the top manufacturers in the golfing industry release their new projects to the public eye.

TaylorMade have launched the all new M5 and M6 range in both woods and irons, with Callaway releasing the Epic Flash and Apex irons. Xander Schauffele used the Epic Flash driver in his latest victory on the PGA Tour in Kapalua. These clubs are set to be released at the start of February.

Golfin' in the rain

If last year’s “Beast from the East” taught us anything, it’s that you definitely need a golf-specific rain jacket when you’re playing golf in the early months of the season.

Indeed, you might be thinking twice about taking to the course when the forecast doesn't look great this month - and we don't blame you if you're as ill-prepared as the golfer in the photo above.

Winter health check

A new year always brings with it a sense of renewed motivation when it comes to improving your golf game – and 2019 isn’t any different. So, before you head to the course next, go into the garage and give your equipment the once-over to make sure all is in order for the year ahead.
